The population size served by a single pastor continues to grow. This means that parish assignments are becoming more complexboth in terms of pastoral care of the faithful and evangelizing those outside the fold.

We are asking pastors to gather leaders around them who will assist them in leading their parishes to become missional communities.

Structures of collaborative leadership (like a parish leadership team) help the pastor to equip the laity for their baptismal vocation to sanctify the world. In imitation of Jesus who said to the disciples, “I have called you friends” (Jn. 15:15), pastors who have invited others to co-labor with them in the mission of their parish often experience greater joy, peace, and freedom.

This webinar will equip pastors and their parish leadership with a basic method for discerning God's will for their parish and first steps to building a leadership team.

This webinar is intended for pastors and their collaborators. This could include: clergy, parish/school staff, leadership team members, pastoral/finance council members, and ministry leaders.

If you do not have a leadership team, we recommend that you check out these resources before the webinar:

  1. Forming a Leadership Team

  2. Course Handbook (Section 3) on Revive Parishes

    • If you are not registered for Revive, it is free, and you can do so here.
