Global Leadership Summit: What is it?

By Fr. Jeff Lorig

The Pastoral Services Leadership Team made of up myself, Shannan Broommer, Jim Jansen, Mike Ashton, Craig Dyke, and Jen Moser, asked the following question.

“What would happen if we invited 300+ serious-minded leaders from across the Archdiocese, put them in a room together to experience a leadership summit of world-class speakers and leaders from a variety of sectors, then had opportunities to be challenged, affirmed, and called to action to become better leaders in our families, churches, and communities?

The answer? Really, really good things.

The Archdiocese of Omaha had decided to partner with the Global Leadership Network to be a Premier Host Site of the Global Leadership Summit. The Summit is a two-day event simulcast LIVE in HD from Willow Creek campus near Chicago every August to hundreds of locations in North America. The Summit events take place at an additional 775+ sites in 130 countries and 60 languages. We’ll be hosting the Summit right here in Omaha at the Harper Ballroom on the Campus of Creighton University.
